JANET STEELE - MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER
Her personal story is one that is very interesting
indeed. Born to a welfare mother and the youngest of three, she, her
brother and sister all dreamed of a better life. All three graduated
from college with Engineering Degrees. Janet received a MBA where she
learned the art of being an entrepreneur. After working long hours with
the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), she decided to leave the work force
and become more in control of her destiny. She first invested in a Hot
Wing business where she would travel over the United States as a food
vendor targeting Black College Homecomings, Football Classic, Concerts
and County Fairs. She then started her own janitorial business. In working
in the janitorial business, she learned to master the art of sales.
As a business owner, one must learn to sell your product to the world.
Tired from working throughout the night, she would awake bright and
earlier to hit the streets to approach business owners about retaining
her services as their cleaner. She was so skillful in attaining new
clients that her empire grew to over forty- five employees. Some of
her clients were attorney offices, computer firms, mail distributing
businesses, restaurants, auto mechanic offices and even Airtran Airways.
But that was not enough for Ms Steele. She realized she was gifted in
interpreting tax law and saving taxpayers money by doing their income
taxes and other accounting services. She opened her an accounting office.
Now she was on her way and the world belong
to her. The sky was the limit. She also thought this strategy through
and decided to specialize. She does TAXES, TAXES and MORE TAXES. Federal
Taxes, State Taxes, Amended Taxes, Quarterly Taxes, Social Security
and Medicare Tax, Unemployment Tax. But she didnÕt stop there. She wanted
to learn as much as she could of ways of helping her clients save money
on their tax returns. She learned that most of her self-employed clients
didn’t have homes. In 1998 she became a certified license mortgage
specialist and was approved by the Department of Banking and Finance
as a mortgage Broker; LICENSED BONDED AND INSURED. But Janet’s
mission was still not completed. She elevated her business concept to
another level and became a Financial Consultant and Investor. So in
other words, when it comes to money there isn’t much she can’t
do and doesn’t know about.
